Under the slogan "Unite to End Violence Against All Women and Girls," HUMAN ACCESS launched its activities for the 16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence campaign, which begins on November 25, the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women, and continues until December 10, Human Rights Day. This initiative is part of a project providing livelihood services to the most vulnerable women and girls in Yemen, funded by the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA).

In Marib Governorate, a marketing bazaar was opened, under the title "Together to Support Women's Products and Empower Them Economically," to showcase the products of more than 200 women who benefited from vocational training and livelihood grants during the current year. The opening took place in the presence of the Deputy Governor, Abdullah Al-Bakri, who stressed the importance of providing a real opportunity to integrate women into the labor market and encourage them to establish sustainable small projects. The bazaar involved various sections, including sewing and tailoring, sweets and pastries, incense and perfumes, handicrafts, mobile phone maintenance, and others.

In Al-Ghaydah city in Al-Mahra Governorate, and in the presence of Ms. Khadija Bakrit, the Assistant Undersecretary for Women’s Affairs in the governorate, an open day was held, with official and community attendance. The open day included several awareness, psychological and recreational corners, in addition to the “Leave a Trace Here” corner, which allowed visitors to write phrases and messages supporting the promotion of awareness of gender-based violence. Ms. Bakrit praised the efforts made to combat violence against women,  which is one of the oldest and most widespread forms of injustice.

In Al-Qahirah District, Taiz Governorate, and in the presence of the Secretary-General of the Local Council of the District, Abdulmalik Amin, and the Deputy Director-General of the Social Affairs and Labor Office in the Governorate, Dr. Mahmoud Al-Bukari, the first bazaar for the products of the beneficiaries of the vocational training programs for the year 2025 was launched, in an effort to highlight the capabilities of women and girls and offer practical platforms to support their productive projects. During the opening, both Abdulmalik and Mahmoud praised the importance of these events to enhance the capabilities of the most vulnerable women and girls.

In the city of Ataq in Shabwa Governorate, an awareness event was held at Shabwa Girls' Secondary School, attended by more than 700 students and teachers. The event addressed the importance of the 16 Days of Activism against Gender-Based Violence campaign, which this year focuses on one of the fastest-growing forms of abuse, namely digital violence against women and girls. The awareness event emphasized the importance of uniting to end the danger of technology misuse against women and girls, given its speed, scope, and impact.
