HUMAN ACCESS in Mukalla concluded a vocational training program on economic empowerment and livelihoods in the incense and perfume industry, in collaboration with United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA), within the context of the Protection and Livelihood Support Project (Safe Space for Women and Girls).
The training sought to upgrade the skills and capabilities of 15 women and girls participating in the course with the necessary knowledge and skills in the field of incense and perfume industry, empower them economically, and facilitate their access to income-generating projects.
At the end of the session, Dr. Abdulbaqi Al-Hawthari, Director-General of the Office of the Ministry of Technical Education and Vocational Training in Sahel Hadhramaut, praised the humanitarian efforts made by HUMAN ACCESS to support women and girls in economic empowerment, rehabilitation and training programs, capacity development, and providing safe spaces for women.
