The Community Center for IDPs of HUMAN ACCESS in Marib Governorate received a delegation from the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC), consisting of Mr. Roeland Pieter, representative of the ICRC office in Ma’rib, and Mr. Alawi Daris, the protection officer at the office.
On their visit, the visiting delegation learned about the community center's services and praised the level and size of services provided to protect the most vulnerable and needy displaced people, especially women, girls, and children.
On the sideline of the visit, prospects for cooperation and coordination between the two sides were discussed.
HUMAN ACCESS manages the community center for IDPs, within the context of the protection project in partnership with the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR).
Due to the seriousness of the Yemeni crisis, displaced women and girls are among the most vulnerable groups, so the project provides a crucial set of services to ensure their protection.
