In partnership with the Malaysian agency MRA, HUMAN ACCESS delivered Ramadan food baskets consisting of rice, sugar, flour, cooking oil, dates and legumes to 500 poor and displaced families in the governorates of Hadhramaut and Marib as part of Ramadan charity projects for this year 1444 AH - 2023.
Yemen is suffering from the cumulative impact of protracted conflict and economic turmoil, which has exacerbated people's chronic vulnerabilities and increased needs for humanitarian assistance.
Ramadan food baskets, therefore, reduce suffering among many poor and needy people during the holy month.
