Due to the difficult humanitarian conditions that Yemen is going through, the significantly high rates of poverty, and the increasing humanitarian needs throughout Yemen, HUMAN ACCESS, in partnership with the Türkiye Diyanet Vakfı, implemented Ramadan charity projects for the year 1443 AH/ 2022 AD, which contributed to alleviating the suffering of IDPs, poor and affected families, and families of orphans.

In a press statement, Dr. Abdul-Wasi Al-Waseiy, Secretary General of HUMAN ACCESS, explained that about (4,000) families benefited from the Ramadan charitable projects provided by HUMAN ACCESS in 12 Yemeni governorates, funded by the Türkiye Diyanet Vakfı, which included the Ramadan food basket project, and the fasting breakfast, which was carried out Ramadan food baskets which were distributed to (4,000) poor and IDP families, and an Iftar meal was provided, benefiting (5,000) individuals.

Al-Waseiy pointed out that the distribution of HUMAN ACCESS depends on the population presence and the poverty rate in the various governorates and districts, with priority given to the most vulnerable groups, the IDPs and the most affected people.

He noted the importance of such projects in alleviating the suffering of the poor and people in need during the holy month, strengthening the bonds of love and brotherhood among members of society, and embodying the principle of social and human solidarity.

Al-Waseiy extended his thanks and gratitude to the Türkiye Diyanet Vakfı for its continuous support for the various relief and development projects implemented by HUMAN ACCESS in various regions of Yemen.
