With funding from United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) and within the activities of the Protection and Livelihood Support Project that is being implemented by HUMAN ACCESS in Wadi Hadhramaut, the safe space for women and girls in the city of Seiyun carried out a field visit to raise awareness about gender-based violence.
This social awareness program educated 50 beneficiaries about gender-based violence, its effects, and the need to address it as a human rights issue. It also made it clear that women and girls of all backgrounds of life should live a free life from violence and coercion, with benefits for entire communities as well.
