HUMAN ACCESS in Marib Governorate implemented awareness-raising sessions and collective psychological support within the framework of the protection and livelihood support project “Safe Space for Women and Girls,” funded by the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) and King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief), to raise awareness about vital issues and so that harsh conditions do not defeat Yemeni women.
In Al-Jufaina area, the safe space organized six community, psychological and legal awareness sessions on women’s work and its positive repercussions on the family and society, the importance of promoting mental health and preventing psychological disorders, women’s right to education and work, space services to achieve women’s ambitions, and multiple issues, in addition to holding group psychological support on psychological resilience and behavioral health.
In Al-Matar area, the safe space conducted a community awareness session on the dangers of discrimination between children and the importance of justice.
The space also carried out group psychological support under the title “Psychological Entertainment” as an essential part of self-care, as part of ongoing efforts to raise awareness and educate women and girls in Yemen on important issues and help them gain self-confidence.
