HUMAN ACCESS in Marib Governorate distributed basic hygiene kits to 494 families in Bir Al-Walidain and Al- Muthanna camps for the displaced in Al- Wadi District to alleviate the suffering of the displaced and help them protect themselves from diseases, as part of the activities of the project to provide emergency life-saving assistance to the displaced and host communities funded by Yemeni Humanitarian Fund (YHF).

Some of the highest levels of vulnerability are concentrated in IDP hosting sites where very few basic services are available.

A comprehensive emergency response is also urgently needed, especially for the most vulnerable groups, such as women and children, who make up 74% of the estimated 4.3 million internally displaced persons, of whom more than 60% live in Marib.
