In partnership with Penny Appeal - Australia, HUMAN ACCESS distributed 300 food baskets consisting of “flour, rice, sugar, cooking oil, dates, and legumes,” in addition to the delivery of 3,000 iftar (breakfast) meals to poor and displaced families in Taiz, Hadhramaut, and Marib governorates, within the Ramadan charity projects for the current year.
As a part of Ramadan aid, food baskets and iftar meals are distributed to Yemen's most vulnerable poor and displaced people, ensuring that they can perform the fasting obligation with complete ease and relieve their suffering due to deteriorating living conditions that have placed large segments of society below the poverty line.
