Two delegations from Global Peace and FundAction Malaysia visited the Office of HUMAN ACCESS in Marib Governorate. They were received by Muhammad Al-Ma’zab, the relief director at the main office, and Nabil Lutf, the HUMAN ACCESS officer in Marib office. During the visit, aspects of joint cooperation and ways of expanding the scope of partnership between the organizations were discussed.
The two delegations were briefed on the difficult humanitarian conditions experienced by the displaced in the camps, and got acquainted with the most prominent humanitarian interventions implemented by HUMAN ACCESS to the displaced, as they expressed their appreciation and admiration for the services provided to the displaced in the displacement camps and the positive impact it has on their lives.
The two visiting delegations also discussed with officials in charge of HUMAN ACCESS rapid intervention mechanisms to implement relief and humanitarian projects during the coming period.
On the sidelines of the visit, food baskets, shelter bags, and ready-made meals were distributed to the displaced in the camps, in addition to the distribution of school bags for orphans at Safiyya School for Girls in Al Jufaina Camp.
Meanwhile, the two delegations visited the Public Health and Population Office, Kara General Hospital, and the Executive Unit for IDPs in the governorate, and reviewed the facilities and departments of the hospital, which was supported by a water purification plant.
