The Community Center for IDPs of HUMAN ACCESS in Marib Governorate concluded an 11-day first aid training course targeting 40 displaced women and girls, as part of the protection project funded by the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR).
The participants received empowerment kits and certificates of honor at the closing ceremony, attended by a delegation of the UNHCR office personnel in Marib, who expressed appreciation for the trainees' eagerness to take advantage of the valuable training course as a beginning point for further learning.
The training was designed to teach displaced female trainees the basic medical skills in first aid, which will allow them to treat minor injuries as well as acquire material compensation to improve their income sources in light of the difficult living conditions Yemen is experiencing due to the conflict.
