HUMAN ACCESS, with funding from the Hungary Helps Agency, has completed the construction of the Emergency Department at the Kharaz Refugee Camp Health Center in Al-Madaribah wa Ras Al-Arah District, Lahj Governorate. This intervention aims to enhance the facility’s capacity to provide emergency health services and improve its readiness to meet the urgent needs of the camp’s population.

The project seeks to improve the quality of emergency health services for refugees and members of the host community. More than 20,000 individuals from Kharaz Camp and surrounding areas are expected to benefit, particularly those facing significant challenges in accessing essential healthcare amid Yemen’s prolonged humanitarian crisis.

This achievement reflects HUMAN ACCESS’s ongoing efforts to strengthen health infrastructure and expand access to effective medical services, contributing to greater protection for vulnerable groups and improved continuity of emergency healthcare.
