HUMAN ACCESS Association has launched the operations of a mobile medical team in Al-Madaribah wa Ras Al-Arah District, Lahj Governorate, as an emergency humanitarian response.

The launch was attended by the Director of the District’s Public Health and Population Office, Dr. Abdulqawi Al-Mansoub, along with several local officials.

The team—whose services are scheduled to run for an initial period of one month—aims to provide a minimum package of primary healthcare services. This initiative seeks to save the lives of displaced families in the district—displaced due to the recent escalation in the West Coast regions—and to alleviate their suffering amidst the exceptional challenges facing the country.

Thousands of displaced persons across all age groups are expected to benefit from free medical consultations, as well as access to essential medicines and necessary health services.
