Aden Health Office Director General meets with the Integrated Project management delegation, commending the interventions
Dr. Tariq Al-Shuaibi, Director General of the Public Health and Population Office in Aden Governorate, received a delegation from the Integrated Project management, implemented by HUMAN ACCESS in partnership with the UNHCR, to provide a range of vital services to refugees and host communities in the governorates of Aden and Lahj. These services include healthcare, delivered through numerous health centers and hospitals.
During the meeting, the visiting delegation presented an overview of the activities and programs implemented in several vital sectors to serve the most vulnerable and needy refugees, primarily in the Kharaz refugee camp in Lahj and Al-Basateen area of Aden. The delegation also indicated its intention to provide the necessary support for the rehabilitation of certain departments at the Aden Psychiatric and Neurological Hospital, which will contribute to improving the level of these life-saving health services.
During the meeting, the Director General of the Aden Health Office expressed his appreciation for the humanitarian and service efforts undertaken by HUMAN ACCESS, with support from UNHCR. He affirmed the Health Office's readiness to provide all possible support for health and humanitarian activities and programs, and to work towards overcoming any difficulties and challenges that may hinder the implementation of interventions. This aims to enhance the quality of services provided to both refugees and host communities.
