On the occasion of World Mental Health Day, which is celebrated on October 10th of each year, an event was held in the Mental Health Department of Al-Basateen Charitable Medical Center in Aden Governorate, with the attendance of the center's staff, to raise awareness of mental health issues.
At the event, several speeches were delivered, emphasizing the status of mental health as a basic human right and the need to be part of comprehensive health coverage and the importance of protecting and promoting mental health in the workplace, which is the slogan of this year's occasion.
HUMAN ACCESS manages Al-Basateen Charitable Medical Center in partnership with the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) as part of the refugee health project implemented in Al-Basateen and Kharaz areas in Aden and Lahj governorates to serve the most vulnerable refugees.
