HUMAN ACCESS in Aden Governorate provided health support to 218 refugees voluntarily returning from Yemen to their home country, Somalia. This support was provided as part of the integrated project and the voluntary return program, funded by the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR).
The health support program included conducting the necessary medical examinations to assess their health status and ability to bear the burdens of travel. The program also provided necessary medications for those suffering from chronic diseases, based on approved medical prescriptions.
Health guidance was also offered to ensure that the voluntary returnees could arrive in good health.
