In partnership with the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR), HUMAN ACCESS has begun a renovation process at Al-Basateen Charitable Medical Center in Dar Saad District, Aden Governorate, with the goal of improving the quality and efficiency of health services at the center and providing the best necessary medical care services to refugees and the host community.
HUMAN ACCESS manages Al-Basateen Charitable Medical Center in partnership with UNHCR as part of the Refugee Health Project, which is being implemented in Al-Basateen and Kharaz areas in Aden and Lahj governorates to enhance the access of the most vulnerable refugees to basic healthcare, in light of a health system that has almost collapsed due to the conflict in Yemen.
