Marib Governorate is flooded with forced displaced people (IDPs) of all ages and from various Yemeni regions, and they require help in meeting their basic needs due to war, displacement, and being away from home.

Thus, HUMAN ACCESS is always committed to providing support and keeping people alive, which is extremely important to displaced beneficiaries.

During the past period, the HUMAN ACCESS relief unit, through the Integrated Project funded by Muslim Aid organization, provided shelter, food and other assistance to 395,800 displaced people, to alleviate the enormous suffering of these vulnerable displaced people.

This important response by the association took place in light of growing humanitarian needs day after day due to the ongoing conflict in the country.

The aid included food baskets, consisting of flour, rice, sugar, cooking oil, and legumes, for 15,000 displaced people.

Moreover, drinking water was supplied via water trucks to 360,000 IDPs, kitchen utensils for 1,800 IDPs, hygiene bags for 3,000 IDPs, and hot meals, consisting of chicken and rice targeting 16,000 IDPs. All of this is considered a vital assistance and an important humanitarian achievement.

As the vulnerable seek help in crises under the banner of humanitarian work, which represents their last sense of security, HUMAN ACCESS confirms that more support from donors is needed for addressing all needs and expanding the scope of humanitarian aid to displaced Yemenis.
