As part of the Winter Warmth Project, funded by Charity Care - Australia, HUMAN ACCESS distributed food baskets, blankets and winter clothing to 8,800 displaced people in Hadhramaut and Marib Its goal is to alleviate the suffering of displaced people living in harsh desert environment with very difficult economic and living conditions.
Flour, rice, sugar and cooking oil make up the food baskets distributed, while winter clothing includes men's and women's jackets as well as wool suits for boys and girls.
Since they lack adequate clothing, blankets, food, and winter supplies, displaced beneficiaries’ lives and health are adversely affected by the severe cold.
