With UNHCR’s funding, HUMAN ACCESS enabled 50 refugee children in Marib Governorate to receive birth certificates. They were also provided with school bags with necessary supplies to encourage them to continue their education at the beginning of the school year and ease the burden on refugee families.
This vital support comes within the broad interventions made by the Protection Sector in the integrated project to stand by the most vulnerable refugees and asylum seekers.
Among the interventions are enabling refugees to obtain identification documents, as that is an essential part of public life, assisting them to understand their rights and how they can protect themselves from risks, and providing recreational activities that will improve refugees’ mental health and their quality of life, among other things.
