In partnership with the Turkish Diyanet Endowment Foundation, HUMAN ACCESS distributed 4,000 food baskets consisting of “flour, rice, sugar, cooking oil, dates, and legumes,” in addition to distributing 5,000 iftar (breakfast) meals to poor, displaced, and affected families in the governorates of Aden, Hadhramaut, Taiz, Marib, Abyan, Shabwa, Al-Mahra, and Lahj within the framework of the Ramadan Charity Projects campaign for this year 1445 AH - 2024.

In a special statement, Dr. Abdulwase Alwasea, Secretary General of HUMAN ACCESS, extended his sincere thanks to the Turkish Diyanet Foundation for this humanitarian support to provide Ramadan aid to those most in need of humanitarian assistance in Yemen, especially the poor, the displaced, and orphans.

He said that this support helps the most vulnerable and needy groups perform the obligation of fasting with ease. Furthermore, the support enables them to improve their living conditions, which are deteriorating as a result of the conflict.

Dr. Alwasea explained that Ramadan charity projects are a window of giving to meet the requirements of the month of fasting for the vulnerable and represent an opportunity to bring joy to the hearts of those in need.
