In keeping with its annual habit of implementing Ramadan charity projects, and with the support of partners and donors, HUMAN ACCESS provided food and livelihood support to 289,432 poor and displaced people during the first ten days of the current month of Ramadan in a number of Yemen’s governorates.

The support included the distribution of food baskets containing quantities of basic foodstuffs, as well as the delivery of iftar (breakfast) meals, cash zakat, dates, meat, and Eid clothing. Among the beneficiaries were Yemeni refugees in the Republic of Djibouti.

The food and cash assistance are extremely crucial due to the multiple economic and living crises millions of Yemenis are experiencing as a result of the conflict.

Moreover, these initiatives are part of broader efforts to respond to the humanitarian crisis in Yemen.

In a special statement, Dr. Abdulwase Alwasea, Secretary General of HUMAN ACCESS, expressed his sincere thanks to all the supporters of Ramadan charitable projects, urging continued donations to alleviate suffering and provide food and livelihood to the poor during the holy month.
