With support from UNHCR, HUMAN ACCESS in Marib Governorate distributed the fourth round of multipurpose cash assistance for 2026 to improve the living conditions of displaced and affected families, particularly given the difficult economic circumstances in Yemen.

The cash assistance, distributed as part of the Protection Project activities, targeted 1,272 of the most vulnerable displaced and host community families. The goal was to empower them to purchase essential items according to their priorities, while preserving their dignity. Cash assistance has proven effective and efficient in responding to humanitarian crises.

During the distribution, a HUMAN ACCESS team conducted field visits to monitor the process, listen to beneficiaries' feedback on disbursement procedures, and review complaint mechanisms. This ensured the project was implemented according to the highest standards of quality, transparency, and accountability, and that assistance reached eligible families efficiently and with dignity.
