With generous Kuwaiti funding, HUMAN ACCESS distributed sacrificial meat to 8,496 poor people and displaced families in the governorates of Taiz, Al-Mahra, Shabwa, Hadhramaut, and the displaced in Marib.

In this context, and with donation from the International Islamic Charity Organization, HUMAN ACCESS distributed 193 sacrifices of sheep and goats to 4,632 people in Shabwa and the displaced in Marib.

With funding from the Zakat House, HUMAN ACCESS also distributed 100 sacrificial sheep and goats to 2,400 people in Al-Mahra governorate.

In addition, 1,104 people received 46 sacrifices of sheep and goats in Taiz governorate, donated by Balad Al-Khair Charity Society.

The association distributed 15 sacrifices of sheep and goats, offered by Tanmeia, benefiting 360 people in Mukalla, Hadhramaut governorate.

In a special statement, Yahya Hasan al-Daba, Head of HUMAN ACCESS, said that the sacrificial animal project aims to improve the conditions of the most vulnerable and affected groups and meet some of their basic meat requirements.

He added that the meat distributed to these vulnerable families resulted in a positive impact on their lives. It, further, helped the beneficiary families handle and cope with crises, due to Yemen's difficult living and economic conditions.

Al-Daba expressed his deep thanks and appreciation to the State of Kuwait, the leadership, government and people, and its charity associations, including Balad Al-Khair, Tanmeia, International Islamic Charity Organization, and Zakat House, for their humanitarian support to alleviate the suffering of Yemen’s people and to share with Yemenis their joy in Eid al-Adha.

Al-Daba stressed that the State of Kuwait is proactive in supporting Yemenis to overcome the repercussions of the conflict and its unlimited support for humanitarian, relief and development projects throughout Yemen. He concluded that we at HUMAN ACCESS organization are deeply grateful for these Kuwaiti humanitarian initiatives.
