HUMAN ACCESS completed the implementation of the sacrifice project for the year 2021 in all governorates of the Republic. Its Secretary General, Dr. Abdulwase Alwasea, stated that about (624.072) individuals representing (104.012) poor families benefited from the project in partnership with several donor organizations and supporting bodies and personalities at home and abroad, pointing out that (12.031) sacrifices of sheep and goats and (1.996) sacrifices of cows were slaughtered and distributed.
He added that HUMAN ACCESS, along with supporting charities, worked through the project to provide meat and distribute it to poor and needy families from the day of sacrifice until the end of the three days of Tashreeq.
In a statement, Dr. Alwasea confirmed that HUMAN ACCESS took into account during the implementation of the project to follow the correct rules during the purchase of sacrifices that comply with health conditions, slaughter, meat packaging and distribution in a comprehensive humane manner and with the highest standards of hygiene and public safety, in addition to its keenness annually to expand the scope of the project to include the poorest and most deserving and needy categories across Yemen.
Awasea pointed out that the blessed Eid al-Adha is a joy for the rich and the poor alike, and that the joy is not complete until the family secures new clothes for its children. In this regard, HUMAN ACCESS has worked in partnership with many donor organizations and supportive agencies to draw joy and smiles on the faces of ( 4.729) children of poor families, orphans and displaced persons through the distribution of Eid clothing, which included boys and girls to rejoice in the feast as all children rejoice.
Dr. Alwasea extended his thanks and gratitude to ACCESS’s partners of organizations, associations, supporting personalities, donors and philanthropists at home and abroad for their continuous support for the various relief and development projects implemented by HUMAN ACCESS in various regions of Yemen. He also thanked the workers and volunteers who contribute to implementing projects, programs and services and do their best to make others comfortable.
