HUMAN ACCESS successfully implemented the Qurban Project for the year 1443AH in every Yemeni governorate.

“Nearly 586,344  people representing  (97,724) poor households benefited from the  Project which carried out in partnership with several donors, funders, and supportive personas at home and abroad”, said Mr. Yahya Hassan Al-Daba’a, Head of HUMAN ACCESS.

He pointed out that 12,587   Qurbani sheep and goats and (1,692) cows were slaughtered and distributed.

He added that HUMAN ACCESS, together with supporting charitable organizations, worked through the project to provide meat and distribute it to people in need since the first until the end of three days of slaughtering.

 Mr. Al-Daba’a stressed  in a statement that,  during the project  implementation, HUMAN ACCESS considered  applying the correct guidelines during the purchase and slaughter of Qurbans, packaging and distribution of meat in a humane inclusive manner that meet the highest standards of cleanliness and public safety.  This comes along with HUMAN ACCESS’s keenness to scale up the project beneficiaries, so to cover the  most vulnerable and deserving groups all across Yemen.

Al-Daba pointed out that Eid Al-Adha is a blessed joyful day for all, rich and poor. Yet, its joy is not fully realized until all children can have access to new clothes. HUMAN ACCESS, in partnership with many donors and partners, ensured this year to put a smile on the face of nearly (2,334) child including orphan and IDP children and  those who belong to families in need.

Mr. Al-Daba expressed his appreciation and thanks to HUMAN ACCESS’s partners including organizations, associations, supporting personas, donors and philanthropists at home or abroad for their continued support for the relief development projects implemented by HUMAN ACCESS in various areas of Yemen.

 He also thanked HUMAN ACCESS’s personnel and volunteers who ensure delivery of projects, programmes and services, and spare no effort to serve those in need.
