With funding from the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR), HUMAN ACCESS in Lahj Governorate conducted a training program for community mobilization volunteers to enhance children's access to education. This training is part of the project to provide primary and secondary education for refugees and asylum seekers in Kharaz refugee camp.
Five volunteers from the Kharaz camp Back-to-School campaign were trained in advocacy and mobilization skills to raise awareness of education's importance, as well as encourage parents in the camp to send their children to school at the beginning of the school year.
The goal is to reduce the number of students dropping out of education among refugees and increase children's access to school.
