As part of the protection and livelihood support project “Safe Space for Women and Girls”, funded by United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA), HUMAN ACCESS in Marib Governorate implemented two activities that focused on supporting women in Yemen and empowering them economically to cope with harsh living conditions.
To assess the effectiveness of economic empowerment programs in Al Jufaina area, the safe space conducted an evaluation of the impact of economic empowerment projects to determine if the program enhanced the resilience of beneficiaries, whether the projects were on track, and whether obstacles were preventing the projects from achieving profitability.
During the first quarter of this year, the safe space completed a vocational training and empowerment program in Al-Matar area, targeting 13 trainees who were interested in sewing and tailoring, with the objective of equipping the beneficiaries with skills in this area so they could earn a living and become self-sufficient.
