HUMAN ACCESS in Marib Governorate organized a number of targeted activities in Al-Wadi District as part of the project "Providing Livelihood Services for the Most Vulnerable Women and Girls in Yemen," funded by the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA). The activities addressed the urgent needs of social groups severely affected by the conflict.
The activities included the distribution of dignity kits to 15 female beneficiaries, containing essential hygiene supplies. Community awareness sessions were also held, attended by 150 women, on issues of concern to women and girls, such as the harms of early marriage, to raise awareness of women's issues and rights.
Further, 65 women received psychological support for a wide range of issues, such as psychological disorders, in order to promote mental health, address psychological trauma, and boost self-confidence.
Other activities were also implemented, specifically for children, as well as beneficiary follow-up, case receptions, and monitoring of success stories. These activities are part of ongoing efforts to achieve sustainable development for all.
