The grants consisted of distributing appliances and tools for the pastry and sweets industry, which included distributing ovens with gas cylinders, electric mixers and other related electric devices, in addition to sets of pots, metal plates, knives and cooking spoons of different sizes and uses.

The number of the grant beneficiaries reached 30 women and girls from the displaced and host community in Al-Jufaina camp and Al-Matar neighborhood in Marib Governorate. Those grant recipients are beneficiaries of United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) funded Protection and livelihood support project.

The grants contributed to empowering the beneficiaries economically and providing them with job opportunities to establish their own projects that would generate new income for them and transform them from a state of poverty and deprivation to development and self-reliance.
