HUMAN ACCESS in Hadhramaut Governorate organized an event entitled “Your Flag is Pink”, within the activities of the Protection and Livelihood Support Project “Safe Space for Women and Girls”, funded by United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA).
The event, which was executed by the Safe Space for Women and Girls in Mukalla, came on the occasion of the International Month for Breast Cancer Awareness "Pink October", as it included a visit to the National Cancer Center in Hadhramaut and meetings with the center's staff.
The event also included circulating awareness leaflets about cancer and ways to prevent it, and introducing patients to safe space services. During the visit, individual psychological support was offered and gifts were handed out to cancer patients.
