The Director of the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA), Markus Wenny, along with representatives of the Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency (SIDA), and the Swiss Development Cooperation Agency, visited a number of HUMAN ACCESS’ interventions in Taiz governorate, funded by the Yemen Humanitarian Fund (YHF), as part of a project to support the integrated response to improve basic services for the most vulnerable communities.
Attended by a number of local officials, the visit included the sewage line extension project in Shi’b Al-Haddadin area in Al-Muzaffar district and Al-Wahda Center in Al-Dhabua’a area, in addition to visiting the Psychiatric and Neurological Hospital.
During the visit, HUMAN ACCESS was commended by the UN humanitarian officer and the accompanying delegation for the vital humanitarian services provided to Yemenis, along with the restoration of the direct-impact basic services.
