Within the context of the “Protection and Livelihood Support Project for Women and Girls”, HUMAN ACCESS in Shabwa Governorate, in cooperation with United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA), carried out two vocational training programmes. The first programme assisted in building the skills and capacities of 25 women and girls, in the sewing and embroidery area, and encouraging them to possess their own projects and thus have new sources of income necessary to better their living conditions. The second programme contributed to building the financial and marketing skills of 25 women and girls, empowering them economically, and enhancing their abilities to carry out various life and income-generating activities.
