HUMAN ACCESS in Ataq district, Shabwa Governorate, in partnership with United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA), implemented a number of activities related to the gender issues within the protection and livelihood support project.
Group psychological support sessions were provided to women and girls on the importance of paying attention to psychological aspects and resisting crises and psychological trauma, in addition to holding awareness sessions on the prevention of gender-based violence.
In this context, community human rights awareness sessions on women's legally guaranteed rights were carried out, in addition to legal counseling services for women who experienced violence.
