As part of the protection and livelihood support project "Safe Space for Women and Girls" funded by the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA), HUMAN ACCESS in Marib Governorate organized a number of activities designed to raise awareness of women in Yemen and meeting the needs of the most vulnerable affected by the crisis.

In Al-Matar area, the Safe Space launched a vocational training course in the field of sewing and tailoring, with the participation of 13 trainees to enhance livelihoods.

Moreover, the safe space organized psychological and community awareness sessions for visitors to introduce its services and discuss the symptoms of obsessive-compulsive disorder.

In Al-Mujamma area, the safe space held a life, marketing and financial skills program for female beneficiaries of vocational rehabilitation during the third quarter of this year, to enhance their ability to compete and withstand the labor market.

The space also carried out psychological support targeting 20 women about psychological security.

During an open day in Marib Al-Wadi, the safe space organized numerous educational and recreational activities and games for children, believing that every child, regardless of circumstances, deserves to live, learn, and play without fear.

In Al-Jufaina area, the safe space held two awareness sessions. Participants in the first session discussed the roles of women in society, aiming to improve their self-concept.

As for the second session, it targeted 21 women and focused on the problems facing women related to gender-based violence, which have multiplied due to conflict, displacement and weak protection mechanisms.

In Al-Rawdah and Al-Mil camps, the Safe Space concluded a vocational training and economic empowerment program in the field of carving and henna for the second batch of the third quarter of this year.

It also concluded a training course in the field of making incense and perfumes, which targeted 12 beneficiaries to teach them this craft so that they can support their families.
