To address the basic food needs of poor and displaced families, HUMAN ACCESS, in partnership with the Humanitarian Relief Foundation (IHH), distributed Ramadan food baskets to 500 poor and displaced families in Marib Governorate and delivered breakfast (iftar) meals to 437 families.
With the ongoing conflict impacting the lives of the majority of the population in the country, Ramadan food baskets, consisting of flour, rice, sugar, cooking oil, and dates, help meet the nutritional needs of this month, which is known for its abundance of needs and high consumption rates.
In a special statement, Yahya Al-Daba, Head of HUMAN ACCESS, explained that the distributed food baskets come under the umbrella of Ramadan charity projects implemented by HUMAN ACCESS every year, which help support the most vulnerable and needy groups and open a window of hope for beneficiary families in the blessed month of Ramadan.
Al-Daba noted the good impact left by these projects in the hearts of the beneficiaries during this holy month, expressing his thanks and appreciation to the Humanitarian Relief Foundation (IHH) for its continuous support for various humanitarian projects, which have succeeded in meeting an important part of the urgent needs across Yemen.
