The Psychosocial Support Center at Al-Shihr General Hospital of HUMAN ACCESS, funded by the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA), organized a training course “Psychological First Aid for Field Workers” in cooperation with the volunteer life culture initiative team.
The course addressed the concept of psychological first aid, the qualities that a paramedic should enjoy, and how crises affect people, in addition to the steps of psychological aid. The course resulted in enhancing the capabilities and upgrading the efficiency of the field workers.
