To address the growing threats hindering women’s progress and to build more resilient and stable societies, HUMAN ACCESS continues to implement the activities of the project providing livelihood services to the most vulnerable women and girls in Yemen, funded by the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA).

In Ataq, Shabwa Governorate, two awareness sessions were held with the participation of 55 women. The first session focused on women’s property rights and document possession, aiming to inform the beneficiaries of their legal property rights, the importance of possessing official documents, and the legal procedures for obtaining them.

The second session addressed the role of working women in family and community development, in an effort to raise awareness among the beneficiaries about the importance of women’s work in supporting their families and communities, enhance their understanding of the impact of women’s economic and social empowerment, and encourage women to develop their skills and take advantage of suitable employment opportunities.

In Al-Khawkhah District, Hodeidah Governorate, a focus group discussion was held with 10 women beneficiaries. The discussion focused on career choice and market analysis, aiming to equip and prepare them to establish meaningful and economically viable projects that meet their needs and provide quality employment opportunities.
