As part of ongoing efforts to improve the situation of Yemeni women and promote their rights, HUMAN ACCESS implemented several important and impactful activities within the framework of the project "Providing Livelihood Services for the Most Vulnerable Women and Girls in Yemen," funded by the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA).

In Al-Ghaydah, Al-Mahra Governorate, a training course in sewing and tailoring was conducted for 11 women. The aim was to equip them with skills in this income-generating craft, enabling them to enter the job market and start their own businesses, thus contributing to their financial self-sufficiency and that of their families.

In Ataq, Shabwa Governorate, a legal discussion and open consultation session was held on women's personal rights and the importance of official documents. The session, attended by 41 women, was designed to raise legal awareness among women, enhance their knowledge of their personal and legal rights, encourage them to seek legal advice, and empower them to obtain their official documents.

In Hays District, Hodeidah Governorate, community awareness sessions were conducted during July, targeting 1,365 women. These sessions focused on gender-based violence, aiming to improve awareness about the dangers of this widespread phenomenon and how to prevent it, for the sake of stable and prosperous societies.
