The Refugee Health Project signed a memorandum of understanding with Ibn Khaldun General Hospital in Lahj Governorate related to referral services for patients.
The memorandum also stated a potential support by the project for the hospital to bring health and wellness services closer to individuals and communities, especially refugees who are unable to meet their medical needs due to various refugee traumas.
As part of an ongoing partnership with the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR), HUMAN ACCESS is implementing a refugee health project in Kharaz and Al-Basateen areas of Aden and Lahj governorates.
In light of a devastated health system on the verge of collapse in the country, health care services are an important part of humanitarian response efforts for the most vulnerable refugees.
