HUMAN ACCESS distributed urgent humanitarian relief to 1,420 Yemeni refugees in a central camp in Djibouti’s Obock Region. The assistance—reaching 200 displaced families—included 200 basic food baskets, 200 personal hygiene kits, 200 temporary shelter kits, and 20 wheelchairs to assist elderly residents and persons with disabilities.
During the distribution, the Yemen Ambassador to Djibouti, Abdullah Musalam Al-Soqatri, praised this vital humanitarian support, highlighting its critical role in alleviating the suffering of refugees facing extremely difficult conditions following a perilous journey across the Red Sea to seek refuge. For his part, the Governor of Obock, Mussa Addan, commended this emergency humanitarian response for securing the daily needs of the most vulnerable and neediest families.
