The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) launched the operation of the Wadi al-Muassel well and pumping station in the Sina area of al-Muzaffar district in Taiz governorate. This follows the project's rehabilitation and the installation of a complete solar power system, part of the "Enhancing Safe, Clean, and Sustainable Water Sources in the City" initiative implemented by the HUMAN ACCESS Association.

The project aims to secure water access for more than 50,000 families in the area and ensure the continuity of water pumping by relying on clean and renewable energy, thus reducing dependence on petroleum products and contributing to the sustainability of this vital service.

The Deputy Governor of Taiz, Rashad al-Akhali, praised the efforts of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, through the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center, in supporting service and development sectors in the governorate. He emphasized that this project represents a crucial step towards improving the water situation for citizens.

Al-Akhali pointed out that there are 3 additional wells currently being rehabilitated, which will help expand the scope of the local water corporation’s services and meet the needs of a wider segment of the population. He expressed his appreciation for the role of HUMAN ACCESS Association and the local water corporation in implementing and facilitating the completion of such vital projects that address the needs of citizens in the areas of water, health and education.
