The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) launched the operation of the Al-Hayat School well in the Old Airport area of Al-Muzaffar District in Taiz Governorate today. This project, implemented by the HUMAN ACCESS Association, intends to enhance safe and clean water sources sustainably for the city's residents.

The project involved drilling the well, equipping it with a submersible pumping system, an integrated solar power system, and a control room. It also connected the well to the water network, ensuring access to potable water for more than 15,000 beneficiaries. The project guarantees continuous pumping using renewable energy and reduces the use of petroleum products to ensure the service's sustainability.

The Deputy Governor of Taiz, Engineer Rashad Al-Akhali, praised the humanitarian and relief efforts provided by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia through the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center. He noted that this project addresses the actual needs of the residents and serves an area that has been deprived of water services for more than 11 years.
