On the occasion of World Physical Therapy Day, which falls on September 8 every year, an event was held in the Physical Therapy Department at Al-Basateen Charitable Medical Center in Dar Saad District.
At the event, a team working in the Physical Therapy Department was honored, in addition to honoring and reviewing success stories of five people who have benefited from the department's services.
The Physical Therapy Department also honored the management of Al-Basateen Medical Center.
The event featured a number of speeches emphasizing the importance of physical therapy and the need for greater awareness and education about physical therapy in rehabilitation as an essential component of a patient's comprehensive recovery, as well as the need to maximize efforts to improve service delivery.
It is worth to note that HUMAN ACCESS manages Al-Basateen Medical Center in partnership with the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) as part of the refugee health project implemented in Al-Basateen and Kharaz areas in Aden and Lahj governorates to serve the most vulnerable refugees.
