The safe place for women and girls in Al-Jufaina area of Marib Governorate marked the completion of a vocational training course in soap and detergent manufacturing. The project is part of the Protection and Livelihood Support Project, implemented by HUMAN ACCESS in collaboration with the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA), to support and empower Yemeni women and assist them to overcome challenges.
The closing ceremony showcased some good and varied products for the 16 trainees from the most vulnerable and needy groups.
A training program had been developed to equip them with the necessary skills to engage in the labor market and obtain an income-generating source that would enable them to become more independent and improve the standard of living for themselves and their families.
