As part of its rapid response to the emergency relief appeal launched by the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA), HUMAN ACCESS implemented an urgent relief intervention to provide support to displaced families affected by the recent heavy rains and floods that swept through several areas in Lahj Governorate.
The intervention included the distribution of food baskets containing essential supplies to several displacement camps in Radfan and Tuban districts, as part of HUMAN ACCESS' ongoing efforts to alleviate the suffering of the most vulnerable groups and enhance their resilience to natural and climate-related disasters.
The distribution was carried out in the presence of representatives of the local authorities and the Executive Unit for the Management of Displaced Persons Camps, emphasizing partnership and integration in the humanitarian response.
