As part of an emergency response to alleviate the suffering of internally displaced people (IDPs), HUMAN ACCESS constructed 20 temporary latrines serving 480 displaced individuals in Tuban District, Lahj Governorate. The intervention aims to restore dignity for affected populations while safeguarding health and environmental standards.

This emergency effort addresses a severe sanitation crisis across Yemen’s displacement camps—a situation that elevates the risk of waterborne epidemics and aggravates daily hardships for vulnerable groups, particularly women and children, amid ongoing conflict and expanding displacement.
