In partnership with the Turkiye Dianet Foundation, HUMAN ACCESS implemented the sacrificial meat distribution project for the year 1444 AH/ 2023 in five Yemeni governorates.
This aid helped alleviate the suffering of the displaced, poor and affected families, as well as the families of orphans during the blessed days of Eid Al-Adha.
In a press statement, Dr. Abdulwase Alwasei, Secretary General of the Society, explained that about 126,000 people benefited from the sacrificial meat distribution project delivered by HUMAN ACCESS during the blessed Eid al-Adha days, which included the slaughter and distribution of (750) sacrificial cows.
Dr. Alwasei said the distribution of meat in the various governorates and districts was determined by the percentage of the population and the percentage of poverty, with priority given to the most vulnerable groups, the displaced and the affected.
Alwasei expressed his deep thanks and appreciation to the Turkiye Dianet Foundation for this humanitarian support to alleviate the suffering of the Yemeni people and to share with Yemenis their joy on the holiday.
