HUMAN ACCESS has delivered wheelchairs to 100 handicapped men and women in the governorates of Taiz and Marib, with fifty chairs in each governorate, financed by the Turkish Sadakatasi organization with the objective of reducing the suffering of disabled people affected by the conflict, making their movement and mobility more accessible, and improving their health.
Due to Yemen's ongoing conflict, thousands of people are disabled, which has made them vulnerable and restricted their access to services, including health care, and they desperately need compensatory devices to help them move around.
These wheelchairs come as a quick solution and meet the essential needs of those people with disabilities.
