The safe space for women and girls in Al-Wadi district of Marib Governorate delivered the second batch of economic empowerment grants to trainees in livestock raising, animal health and nutrition as part of the Protection and Livelihood Support Project, which is implemented by HUMAN ACCESS with funding from the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA).
Each beneficiary received 3 sheep of good local breeds, capable of breeding, and resistant to diseases and climatic conditions of the region, in addition to nutritional supplements.
It is necessary to qualify them in this field in order to ensure that beneficiary families are transformed into productive families, and to improve their ability to raise livestock, one of the pillars of Yemeni rural families' economies.
